You probably can name that film already.
The 1995 sports-romance movie Jerry Maguire starring Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding, Jr, and Renee Zellweger spawned several other famous one-liners:
“Help me help you.”
“You had me at hello.”
and
“You complete me.”

The latter quote came to mind yesterday as my friend and brother Oscar shared with me the first two letters from the Apostle John.
There are three letters from John in the New Testament, and are located right before the Books of Jude and Revelation.
The first letter reads like a love letter from God.
Reading closely, we discovered it is a letter of beautiful responsibility for all Christians.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
(1 John 4:11-12)

His Love is Made Complete in Us
1 John 4: 17 continues:
“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.”
Wow!
We have a responsibility to complete God’s love for one another.
Now, that’s something to live for.

You Complete Me
God is whispering in our ears through the Word.
Scratch that.
Picture Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding, Jr screaming at each other on the phone in the film Jerry Maguire.
God is yelling at us…
You complete me!

I found this thread quite interesting! My thoughts are that we must learn to get pass our differences and learn to love each other as people. We must stand together as Christians and live out the relationships that God want is to have

Thank you Jerome for your kind feedback! I agree with you. We not only have an opportunity to love one another, we have a responsibility to do so.
